Detailed introduction
The Heliport Flood Light serves as a critical component within aviation infrastructure, specifically designed to provide ample illumination and safety enhancements for helicopters navigating towards heliports. Positioned strategically around heliport facilities, these floodlights emit a powerful, broad beam of light, typically in white or other specified hues, in compliance with regional regulations and standards. Functioning as robust sources of illumination, the Heliport Flood Lights ensure visibility for pilots during critical phases of approach, landing, and takeoff.
By casting a wide swath of light across the heliport area, these floodlights facilitate clear visual cues for pilots, enabling them to navigate safely and efficiently regardless of ambient light conditions. This becomes particularly vital during night operations or in scenarios where natural light is insufficient. Moreover, the Heliport Flood Lights contribute significantly to enhancing safety by providing essential visual references for pilots, ground crew, and other personnel operating in the vicinity of the heliport.
Their installation and maintenance adhere strictly to regulatory guidelines to guarantee optimal functionality, thus ensuring uninterrupted service and reliability. In conclusion, the Heliport Flood Lights play an indispensable role in bolstering the safety and effectiveness of helicopter operations by offering robust illumination and clear visual guidance to pilots and ground personnel. Their presence enhances situational awareness, minimizes risks, and fosters smooth and secure operations within heliport environments, ultimately reinforcing the integrity of aviation practices and prioritizing the safety of all involved parties.
Overview:
AO-HP-F2 helipad flood lights are used to illuminate helideck heliport lighting in the night, It is specially designed for helipads, providing glare-free, uniform surface lighting for landing and loading activities. LED Surface Floodlights improve pilot depth perception by reflecting the surface of the helipad, allowing pilots to better estimate their altitude during landing.
Helideck floodlight was used with other kind of heliport lighting products, such as heliport TLOF, FATO light, Heliport Aiming point light etc.
Compliance:
1. ICAO Annex 14 Volume II Heliports 5.3.
2. FAA AC 150/5390-2B Heliport Design Guide
Features:
1. Adopt super bright LED, high lumen with a lower energy consumption.
2. Input voltage available in DC(12-48V DC) or AC(100-265V AC 50-60Hz).
3. The enclosure is made out of stainless steel powder coated in electrostatic field, ensure it have good weather res.
4. The angle of tilt of the luminaire is easily adjusted to maximise heliport illumination, efficient photometric design provides excellent light distribution, make sure meet ICAO and FAA demand.
5. The assembly has a low profile of less than 25cm and mounts to frangible point.
6. Fragile coupling reduce the secondary damage to helicopters effectively.
